ARCH is bringing together housing providers, advocates, agencies, and community leaders from across rural Alabama for a statewide summit on solving our toughest housing challenges — featuring the Housing Hero Awards. Exact dates and location will be announced soon.
This annual event brings community members together to better understand the state of homelessness in rural Alabama through data, storytelling, and shared strategy. Together, we'll explore key trends shaping homelessness across our 37-county Alabama Balance of State Continuum of Care, including insights from the 2026 and 2027 Balance of State Point-in-Time Count, broader system data, key drivers of housing instability, and the solutions needed to move our community closer to ending homelessness.
The event will also highlight unifying goals and strategies, elevate opportunities for collective action, and invite each of us to consider our role in building an Alabama where everyone has a safe, stable, and affordable home.
Admission to the Rural Housing Summit is free. Reserve your spot below and our team will follow up with full event details as the date approaches.
The Housing Hero Awards are presented live during the Rural Housing Summit, recognizing individuals and organizations whose work has made a real difference in ending homelessness and expanding housing access across rural Alabama.
