The Rural Housing Summit brings together the people doing this work every day — case managers, agency directors, local government, landlords, and community leaders — for a day of practical training, shared strategy, and recognition of the people going above and beyond for rural Alabama's most vulnerable residents. The Housing Hero Awards are presented live during the Rural Housing Summit, recognizing individuals and organizations whose work has made a real difference in ending homelessness and expanding housing access across rural Alabama.
